Criteria for Case of the Month Submissions

Please consider the following criteria when submitting your clinical case for publication on Wounds911.com:

  • Author Information— provide your name, clinical specialty, and title with each clinical case submission
  • Specificity— indicate the etiology of the wound, your approach to treating it, products that you administered, time/length of treatment, and any other necessary information related to the treatment protocol
  • Clarity— write clearly about the specifics of your case, so that the reader can fully understand the issues involved.  Be concise in your explanations.
  • Evidence— provide the necessary photos that support your case and treatment modality
  • Formatting – use the Wounds911.com format that will be provided to you
  • Copyrights – confirm that you hold all rights to the article (see below)
  • Ownership of Images – confirm that your patient has consented to your use of images (see below)
  • All submissions must be sent in electronic format to blog@wounds911.com

 

Wounds911.com Rights of Use

By submitting your content to us, you and/ or your organization will be granting Wounds911.com unlimited rights of use across multiple digital channels including web, social, email, mobile, and PDF. We also retain the right to edit for clarity, tone, and style. Please ensure that you have the right to grant the use for all content and materials that you provide, and provide copyrights and rights of use for any images.  Wounds911.com reserves the right to decide if your submission qualifies for the Case of Month section of the site.  Authors will be notified of the approval/rejection of their case within two (2) weeks after the receipt of submission.
